Ainscough Group of the UK has restructured, de-merging its engineering services division and its training division as separate companies to concentrate on its core business of mobile crane hire.
Ownership of Ainscough Engineering Services transfers from Ainscough Group to the Ainscough brothers – Martin, Brendan and James – owners of the group. Ainscough Engineering Services will be managed by their cousin, Anthony Ainscough, together with Steve Norman. Likewise, the training division has also now become a separate company, owned by the family but outside of the group.
The third strand of the reorganisation was the disposal in August of its fleet of aerial boom lifts, sold to PTP Access, a company owned by Loxam.
The restructuring in place, the core business is now reverting to its former trading name of Ainscough Crane Hire.
