Ainscough Group, the owner of the UK’s biggest fleet of cranes, has quit the powered access equipment market. Ainscough Group has sold its fleet of boom lifts to PTP Access.
Ainscough joined the rush into the access equipment hire market just three years ago at a time when the sector began to get overcrowded.
PTP Access, formerly part of the Initial group, was acquired by French plant hire company Loxam last year.
