The acquisition will become the fifth ALE branch in the region. This, the firm believes, will give it a more competitive edge by providing a wider and more integrated service, from smaller scale cranes right through to the largest crane, as well as with specialist transportation equipment. ALE said that the purchase of ECR would allow it to further invest in the region both in current and new equipment to ensure a complete service is available to its customers.

ALE has announced the acquisition of the majority shares of ECR Group based in Gladstone, Australia. The company said that following the success of the joint venture ALE ECR Heavylift, both parent companies decided to cement this successful pairing by bringing the ECR business into the ALE group.
