Spanish company Gruas Alhambra took delivery in November of the first unit of a new crawler crane from Sennebogen. The 3300 Star-Lifter is a 110t capacity crawler and is the fourth model in Sennebogen’s series of Star-Lifter lift cranes.

The 3300 fits in between the 80t capacity 2200 model and the 140t capacity 4400. Top of the range is the 180t class 5500. In addition, Sennebogen also produces a seven-model range of lattice boom crawlers designed for duty-cycle work as rope excavators.

The 3300 has two 120kN winches as standard and a 195kW Caterpillar diesel engine.

The crane is designed to self assemble and be ready for work within a few hours. Main boom combinations offered are either 63.5m or 74.7m. With 41.1m of main boom and 52.3m of luffing jib, a maximum hook height of 90m can be reached. Another option is 57.9m of main boom and 29.9m of fixed jib. Maximum lifting capacity on the luffing jib is 37t.

Boom sections have been designed to store inside each other and transport in standard size containers.
