ERS Industries Inc has acquired the assets of Ohio Industries including American & Ohio Locomotive Crane.
Railway cranes will continue to be manufactured in Bucyrus, Ohio, USA. Re-manufacturing is based in ERS’s shop in Buffalo, New York.
The new owner is also now distributing replacement parts for all of the locomotive cranes that are in service. ERS is active in the railway, steel and materials handling industries and has a long association building and repairing American and Ohio branded railway cranes. It also builds the Powerstick, a hydraulic locomotive crane.
Under the new ownership, American & Ohio Locomotive Crane Company will retain its own identity as a division of ERS Industries.
