Andreas Klauser’s contract as CEO of Palfinger has been extended ahead of schedule for a further five years; Palfinger aims for three billion euro revenue in 2030.

The appointment extension was made unanimously by Palfinger’s Supervisory Board. “I am pleased that in the coming years Palfinger will continue to follow the future driven course of renewal successfully set by Andreas Klauser,” said Hubert Palfinger, Chairman of the Palfinger’s Supervisory Board.

Klauser has headed the company over the last four years, during which time the company set record revenues and earnings in 2019 and 2021. Decisive to this, the company said, was the consistent implementation of its new Global Organization (GPO) structure. During 2020 Palfinger said it quickly made purpose-specific actions to secure liquidity, employee health and production reliability. The flexible structures also prove essential in dealing with the stressed supply chain and supply disruptions, it said.

Looking to the future, Palfinger said it is now focussing on the implementation and realisation of its Vision & Strategy 2030. The initiative incorporates the digitalisation of all Palfinger divisions and the company hopes it will lead to further success.

“We at Palfinger have set ourselves clear corporate and financial targets: In 2030, we are aiming for a revenue of three billion euros. As CEO, I am proud to make a key contribution to further sustainable growth and to ensure the successful implementation of our strategy,” said Andreas Klauser.

Andreas Klauser (born 1965) started his career in 1990 at Steyr Landmaschinentechnik and was responsible for the reorganization of sales in Eastern Europe after the takeover by Case Corporation. Following the merger of Case with New Holland to form CNH in 2000, he became Business Director Central Europe, Brand President and member of the board of CNH Industrial in 2009, and also Chief Operation Officer of the EMEA region in 2013.

Vision & Strategy 2030

With his appointment as CEO of PALFINGER AG in 2018, Andreas Klauser not only implemented a uniform global structure (GPO), but also took proactive steps to position PALFINGER for the future and the challenges of digitalization, sustainability and social change in close cooperation with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board. “For this reason, we defined our Vision & Strategy 2030 in 2021, which we are now rapidly implementing,” explains Andreas Klauser. Partners and customers are the main focus for PALFINGER. They are provided with solutions and services that help them perform with economic, ecological, and social success in an environment that is rapidly changing.

Revenue Targeted at EUR 3.0 Billion

In line with the vision of “Lifting value, creating momentum,” the Strategy 2030 is based on the two pillars “Go for Solutions” and “Go Digital.” They initiate a profound change, comprehensive digitalization of all divisions and lay the foundation for continuing PALFINGER's success as the world's leading provider of innovative crane and lifting solutions. “As a result, we at PALFINGER have set ourselves clear corporate and financial targets: In 2030, we are aiming for a revenue of three billion euros. As CEO, I am proud to make a key contribution to further sustainable growth and to ensure the successful implementation of our strategy,” says Andreas Klauser.
