Airtek Cranes Ltd. is a national UK rental company for Arcomet self erecting cranes with a fleet of 95 Arcomet cranes, operating nationwide from Camberley.
Airktek Cranes parent company Airtek Safety Ltd has expressed its strategic intention to focus on its core business, safety solutions for the building industry. Arcomet Group wishes to expand its rental activities in the UK market.
Steve Rooney has been appointed Managing Director of the re-named Arcomet Airtek Cranes Ltd. with Stany Philtjens promoted to Operations Manager.
The Arcomet Group will further integrate and expand its UK Group’s crane rental, sales and service companies Arcomet Airtek Cranes Ltd., Arcomet Midland Cranes Ltd., Arcomet Tower Cranes Ltd., Arcomet Sales Ltd. and Arcomet Training and Safety Services Ltd. with new facilities being opened at Risely, Westcott and Dartford in early 2007.
Graham Baukham has been appointed UK Group MD; Tony Reeves has been appointed UK Group CFO.
Charlie Evans and Marc Champion are managing Arcomet Tower Cranes Ltd, Jerry Welford manages Arcomet Midland Cranes Ltd and John Green manages Arcomet Training and Safety Services Ltd.
“The Arcomet Group reconfirms its full confidence in and support to its UK companies’ management team,” the company said in a statement.
For 2007, Arcomet forecasts a consolidated group turnover of Eur 130m with the UK group at a budgeted Eur 22.
The Arcomet Group is the exclusive Manitowoc Potain distributor for the UK and Ireland.
