To achieve TÜV certification, safety features on each of the Dynamic series’ controllers had to meet various European standards dependent on the controller function.
Each remote’s STOP function meets EN ISO 13849-1 Performance Level e standards, along with standards required for Category 4 and EN IEC 62061 Safety Integrity Level 3.
For the Unintended Movement From Standstill (UMFS) function, PLd and Category 3/SIL2 requirements have been achieved by Autec.
Autec states that certification by the TÜV brings customers an assured level of quality when using their Dynamic controllers, typically used for mobile hydraulic applications, that simply cannot be guaranteed by self-certification.
The manufacturers remotes can be used for a range of applications, including lifting operations involving personnel, so all remotes undergo testing to demonstrate their robustness throughout their entire lifecycle, even for used in extreme temperatures or hazardous environments.
All remotes in the series are IP65-rated.
