Auto Crane Company, a US manufacturer of straight boom loader cranes, has launched a new telescopic truck crane. The 8406H telescopic crane is rated at 50,000 lb/ft (7t/m) and standard specification includes both an FM radio remote control and a tethered pendant, a two-speed rotation mechanism, power boom extension to 20ft (6m), and a line speed of 60ft/min (18m).
Also included is a data logging function that Auto Crane calls Smart Crane System. Performance data such as voltage, lift cylinder pressure and error code charts can be downloaded to a PDA.
