The Firm said that its purchase of a LTM 1500 8.1 and a LTM 1350 6.1 complemented the existing range of Liebherr cranes in the Baldwins’ Heavy Crane Division.
The eight-axle LTM 1500-8.1 is equipped with a 7-section, 84m telescopic boom. The lattice jib, reaching lengths of up to 91m, extends the operating range of this 500t crane to 142m hoisting height and 108m reach.
The LTM 1350 6.1 has six axles and a lifting capacity of 350t. The telescopic boom and the flexible lattice jib system give a wide range of operating configurations. The lifting capacity across the range is significantly increased by use of the Liebherr Y suspension system which adds greater stability and load capacity.
