Webtec’s new RFIK tester for measuring hydraulic flow, pressure and temperature in mobile hydraulic machinery is a portable mechanical unit that does not need a battery. An extra feature is that the flow can be reversed which means that valves, cylinders and pumps can be tested.
Two sizes are available: one with a capacity range between 5 litre/min and 120 litre/min; and the other between 8 litre/min and 180 litre/min. Both have a rating of 420 bar and the alcohol thermometer can read up to 80°C. Flow is measured to an accuracy of 4% FSD (full scale deflection) which means ±7 litres on the larger model.
The aluminium body of the tester is housed in a steel box and the kit comes with 3/4in BSPF male adaptors.
