Vlassenroot, the Belgian steelwork company that makes telescopic booms for most of the major crane manufacturers has added Terex-Demag to its customer list. Its German subsidiary KSK is cutting, bending and welding booms for the AC 80 and AC 100 models.

As reported in March 2003, Vlassenroot already cuts and bends boom sections for certain models for Grove, Tadano Faun, Terex PPM and Luna and it supplies complete booms for certain models made by Link-Belt, Liebherr, Marchetti, Rigo and Kato.

It also now supplies the boom on Sennebogen’s new 683 telescopic crawler crane that was launched at Bauma.

To cope wth the rise in demand on its services since it was featured on the cover of Cranes Today, Vlassenroot has rented two new production halls in Bochum, Germany.
