The Liebherr LR1600/2 is the newest addition to the fleet, and is amongst the largest cranes Bigge has for hire, at 660USt. With a 108m (354ft) boom, the crane is capable of lifting up to 93USt at an 18m (59ft) radius.
Described as ideal for wind turbines, Bigge suggests that it is the best machine available for this type of application, as it has the ability to erect most nacelles on 100m towers.
The Grove RT9130E is suitable for applications such as general civil and industrial construction projects, wind farm erection and maintenance, as well as refinery work. The 130USt capacity rough terrain crane has a reach of over 200ft.
The firm’s fleet is now over 70 models-strong and ranges in lifting capacities from 7USt to over 600USt.
