German truck and trailer crane manufacturer Böcker will debut its new AK 48e hybrid crane with a 30 kWh battery on its stand (FS.1203/2) at Bauma.
The AK 48e can be mounted as an electric crane on a MAN, Mercedes, Volvo, or Scania truck and combines the crane’s sustainable electric operation with a carrier vehicle that uses a conventional combustion engine to travel to the jobsite.
The AK 48e can operate for an entire day without recharging, says Böcker, and provides rope speeds of up to 60m/min, payloads of up to 3t (optional: 6t), and extension lengths of up to 49m (optional: 52m).
In the trailer crane segment Böcker will showcase the fully electric AHK 30e KS and AHK 36e trailer cranes with newly developed electric winch.
The cranes’ low energy consumption, combined with a powerful battery capacity of 12.2 kWh, says Böcker, enables up to 140 lifting operations per day without a power connection.
In the truck-mounted crane sector Böcker will show its compact AK 36 with PTO drive, while the company’s most powerful model, the AK 52 with PTO drive, will be providing basket rides to intrepid show-goers!
