Boekestijn already offers mobile cranes with capacities from 30t to 500t, and said the LTM 1150-6.1 will fit between its 120t and 200t models. It currently owns and operates 30 Liebherr mobile cranes, as well as seven mobile tower cranes from Liebherr and Spierings and crawler cranes with loading capacities ranging up to 90t.

The new cranes offer a 66m boom length, a 19m swing-away extension and the Liccon 2 crane control system. The LTM 1150-6.1’s ability to be used as a taxi crane proved another important factor in the decision to order nine of the model, added Boekestijn; remaining road legal while carrying a 15t counterweight.
