Beck & Pollitzer Engineering, the UK specialist industrial installations contractor that was bought by its management last year, has appointed Stuart Doughty as chairman. Doughty, a senior figure in the UK construction industry, has been director of major projects at Tarmac, managing director of Alfred McAlpine Civil Engineering, and chief executive of Hyder Infrastructure Developments.
Joseph Danules has joined Grove Manlift as senior vice president, sales and marketing. He was previously VP sales at Volvo Construction Equipment North America Inc.
