Chant Engineering’s expanded calibration van feet aims to save costs for rigging shops across the USA.

Chant Engineering, a Pennsylvania, USA-headquartered calibration and service solutions provider to the lifting and rigging industry, has invested in two new dedicated calibration vans to complement its existing two trucks. It says this will enable it to offer better service to, and save costs for, its customers.

Chant Engineering says its fully-equipped vans have spare parts and calibration equipment for all its customers' machines, thus eliminating any shipping costs. The company says its team of seven people is the largest calibration team in the industry, covering the entire country providing timely certifications that are accurate and in compliance with government standards.

Customers can also benefit from additional savings by signing long-term contracts and being on the company's calibration schedule, so they don't lose production time. Chant Engineering offers four levels of calibration contracts, ranging from one to five years, as well as long-term corporate contracts for large companies.

According to Chant calibration is essential to ensure accurate testing, protect companies, and store traceable records of every test run on machines. It recommends calibration once a year as a benchmark for most companies, with technicians also providing a complementary functionality check of machines during calibration to detect and prevent potential problems.
