Brelin was previously senior vice president for the Americas region of Cargotec’s Hiab business. His new role, executive vice president for the Americas region of Cargotec’s new industrial and terminal crane business will see him take responsibility for Kalmar cranes as well. Brelin has an MA in Business Marketing, and has worked with Cargotec for more than 20 years.
The industrial and terminal business was formed out of the Hiab and Kalmar businesses on 14 August. Cargotec’s business is now split into two main business area, industrial and terminals, and marine, which covers the MacGregor brand.
