Anthony Crane Rental has acquired two more crane rental comanies: Carlisle Construction Company for $177.5m, and the Dunn Companies group for $30.6m. Both were cash payments.
These acquisitions confirm Anthony’s position as the largest crane hire company in North America.
Carlisle operates out of Cincinatti, Indianapolis and Orlando and has had net sales of about $90m for each of the past two years.
The Dunn group, whose head offices are in Texas City, Texas, includes Dunn Equipment, Texas Matt & Rigging, Houston Industrial Services and D&D Leasing. The group reported net revenues of $20.6m in 1998.
