The crane was purchased to replace a Kato CR250, which Cheshire Crane Hire used for a number of years.
"We are delighted to receive this new Kato from Rivertek," said Frank Preston, managing director. "This is the third crane we have purchased from them and we have been very impressed with their performance, low operating costs and reliability."
The CR-200Ri provides a 28m main boom and it is easy to install a hydraulic fly jib. The crane is powered by a European compliant Cummins QSB6.7-4A Turbo Charged Engine. It has a gross vehicle weight of 19,715kg and has a weight per axle of less than 10t.
Ivan Bolster, operations manager at Rivertek said: "We are sure that this new Kato will prove to be as reliable as previous models but at the same time offering many new innovative features."
Rivertek will displayed the full range of Kato Cranes at Vertikal days in June 15th and 16th.
