Chinese foundries will not have to rely on imported technology for giant ladle cranes anymore after Taiyuan Heavy Industry successfully commissioned a 450t capacity ladle crane in Shanxi Province in northern China.
The crane was specially built for Wugang Group Corporation and it is the biggest ladle crane in China, according to a report by SinoCast China Business Daily News. It is the first time that a Chinese company has produced such a large industrial crane, according to the report.
