The Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) 2023 is scheduled to take place on 12-15 May 2023 at the Changsha International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Changsha, central China.
The showground is 300,000 square metres in size and the organisers are expecting approximately 1,800 exhibitors and 400,000 visitors (30,000 of which, it estimates, will be international visitors).
The show is organised by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Construction Machinery Society, and Changsha Municipal People's Government.
The show’s organisers said they believe the exhibition will serve as a platform for global construction machinery companies to enter the Chinese market. It will also act as a window to showcase Chinese technology and manufacturing achievements to the world and will heavily feature integrated technology including 5G, AR, VR, immersive interaction, new media marketing, digital management tools. The organisers are expecting over ten million virtual online visits.
International information exchange and cooperation
In addition, the organisers said they hope the show will become a forum via which information and cooperation between everyone involved in construction – from international construction machinery manufacturers and contractors to chambers of commence from different countries and international media – is increased.
To help effect this, and advance the exhibition’s international focus, the organisers of CICEE 2023 have actively promoted the show in regions including: Latin America; Southeast Asia; the Middle East; and Africa.
Complementing the exhibition, a full programme of forums, conferences, awards, competitions and reports covering all areas of construction will be released, the organisers promised.
