Québec, Canada-headquartered virtual training tools developer CM Labs has launched Intellia training system The company describes it as an ‘intelligent system’ it believes is set to redefine workforce development.
The Intellia system is designed to help organisations deliver, manage, and experience training more effectively and efficiently and every level of a training organisation can benefit from its use, says CM Labs.
For example, administrators can benefit from streamlined functions and advanced reporting features; instructors can benefit from the ability to better train, monitor, and manage multiple trainees; and trainees gain the ability to expand their proficiency at their own pace through prescribed learning paths, the company claims.
The system comprises a suite of products, including:
Intellia Instructor: a software platform designed to allow instructors to create learning paths, inject faults into exercises, view trainees through the operator view camera, and monitor student progress through detailed reporting features.
Intellia Drone View: This provides a multitude of viewpoints within simulated exercises. Trainers can observe trainees through an avatar walking around the virtual jobsite, flying by drone, or even underground in subterranean mode.
Intellia Training Packs: This is a library of heavy equipment training packs, powered by CM Labs’ core technology to offer a high level of realism.
Intellia Add-On Modules: Optional exercises covering a range of needs, such as advanced safety exercises, can be added.
Intellia products can run on CM Labs’ entire line of simulators: Trainer, Edge Plus, Edge Max, Advantage, Master, and MasterCab.
