3B6 was established in 1981 to supply electronic controls for hydraulic transmissions, and branched into mobile machines and safety devices and CAN-Bus linked systems. “Nowadays we are conscious that our field is everything that gets an engine, two tracks or four wheels, at least,” said 3B6 founder and general manager Alessandro Bertola. The COBO group makes a complementary range of electrical and electronic components.
Last year, 3B6 started a new company to provide data access to remote machines via mobile telephone networks. The RLDS service works with machines equipped with 3B6 controls and GPS tracking technology. It also launched an afterservice company, 3Bmust.
The combined group has more than 1,000 people and a sales revenue of Euros 200 million.
