3B6, exhibiting at Bauma as part of the Cobo Group, will launch a line of multifunctional displays called Tera for all mobile applications using CANbus Interface.
The line is based on ARM architecture and the Linux operating system. All screens can be customized using WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)-style programming tools. An optional external video camera input is available for picture screening.
“Its wide memory capabilities and fast processing power can manage a multitude of pages, like power-train control, engines, transmissions, load limiting or weighing systems, different levels of black box and operative data loggers,” says 3B6.
There are two size options: Tera-6, a 6.5in VGA display with a built-in 10 key soft touch keyboard and Tera-12, with a 12in SVGA display and full touch screen user interface.
EN 13849 ready main controllers will also be shown at Bauma. The Midac Plus is a master or slave module for CAN networks, based on a high speed processor and a high number of I/O. The MC2M controller has a double processor expressly designed for centralised control of new generation mobile machines. This main CANbus controller is provided with a high number of inputs (analogue, digital, RPM) and outputs (ON/OFF and PWM) software configurable, says 3B6.
