UK heavy logistics specialist Collett & Sons has announced the purchase of 36 Goldhofer THP/SL-L modular axle lines.
This marks a significant shift for Collett and a new direction for its ever-growing fleet of specialist trailers and equipment as it is the first time Collett has purchased Goldhofer modular axles. The new axle lines are scheduled to arrive and be operational within their fleet in August 2025.
The Goldhofer THP/SL-L series is renowned for its lightweight construction and high payload capacity, making it well-suited for Collett’s expanding portfolio of complex transport projects. Each axle line is engineered for maximum flexibility, allowing Collett to tailor configurations to the specific requirements of each load. With an axle load capacity of up to 26.1 tonnes and a deadweight of just 2.77 tonnes per axle, Collett says these modular trailers deliver exceptional stability and reliability across a range of heavy haulage operations.
