The F2150RA/RAL crane is a direct evolution from the F1950RA/RAL with the addition of the well-established XP extra power system. The lifting performance is increased by about 10% in the RA version and by up to 16% in the RAL compared to the F1950, the company says. Features of the F2150RA he-dynamic include a load moment capacity up to 136.4 tm and a hydraulic reach up to 41 m with jib.

In order to enhance the range of high capacity cranes, Fassi has designed the F545RA xe-dynamic which is added to the XE series, between the larger F560RA he-dynamic and the smaller F485RA xe-dynamic.

Designing this new model, Fassi achieves the objective of producing a true 50 tonne/metre class crane with dimensions that are compact enough for installation on a three-axle chassis.

The footprint of the machine has been increased by just 85 mm, therefore maintaining the compact size of the F485RA model. It weighs just 3%, but is 10% stronger thanks to stabilisers that extend to 7.8 metres for challenging lifts. It has a maximum load moment of 53 tm and a maximum hydraulic reach of 20.80 m.

The new F545RA is a continuous rotation crane with the option of a double gear motor. It is supplied as standard with the proven FX500 control system, the D850 hydraulic distributor, the Fassi RCH/RCS radio remote control and the FSC-S or H stability control. Features of the F545RA xe-dynamic include a load moment capacity up to 51 tm and a hydraulic reach up to 30 m with jib.

Fassi offers two new models in the small crane market, the F65B and the F70B, with the connecting rod and fork on the secondary arm, both with decidedly modest weights compared other crane son the market in the 6-7 tm class.

The use of ultra-high strength (UHS) steels has made significant weight reduction possible, offering more residual load capacity. In addition, the new linkage design of the main and secondary joints has led to a 9% increase in hydraulic reach compared to the previous model.

The Fassi says: "Great attention has also been paid to optimising the dimensions: the distributor is housed vertically on the crossbar and the oil tank is more compact for an overall slimmer structure.

"To simplify maintenance when changing the configuration of the stabiliser crossbars, and eliminate the need for any welding work, the hydraulic extensions have been designed on a modular basis."

The F65B comes with the FX500 control system and in the e-dynamic version with the Fassi RCH/RCS radio remote control. All the models have four base versions that can be fitted with a maximum of four hydraulic extensions. In addition, the XP "extra power" system turns the F65B into the superior lifting F70B.

The new crane F40B is extremely compact and the ratio weight is very performing, the company says. The high quality construction is granted by the structural cast components and by the use of ultra-high strength steel. Fassi has also designed a new control interface to improve users’ experience. It is the colour radio control "V7" which includes a new colour display 3.5 and16 bit screen with 320×240 px resolution.

Another innovation is the new "Internet of cranes" which improves the dialogue between the user and the crane thanks to an instantaneous localization of the crane and a status (active and inactive) in addition to a real-time diagnostics.

The "IOC" system allows an enrichment in the crane use, making the relationship between users and cranes more immediate and intuitive, the company says.
