Multiconductor, 4-Ductor, and Pro-Ductor multi-pole insulated conductor systems from Netherlands-based Akapp-Stemmann are designed to provide feed and control to cranes, hoists, warehouse vehicles, and so on.
The company also supplies the Click-Ductor, whose conductor segments can connect the conductor segments by means of a click system. This is designed to ensure a quick exchange of damaged segments.
One client using the Click-Ductor is Kraanservice van den Broek bv in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In 2002, this company supplied cranes including conductor bar systems to excavator manufacturer Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe NV (HCME), Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Thirty-three overhead cranes have been supplied for the production facilities (120m by 240m), each with a span of 20m.
With hoist capacities of 5t, 10t, and 20t divided type GH units are over eight crane gantries, with lengths up to 240m and hoist heights of 10m. The Akapp Click-Ductor model RC4-4-80 is used (four conductors of 80A), each requiring both head and line feed. The Training Centre is provided with three additional overhead cranes of 2t and 5t, and the Click-Ductor RC4-4-50 (four conductors of 50A).
