Strong winds had prevented the crane being dismantled prior to the storm. The jib of the Jost JDL58.6 hydraulic luffer, owned by City Lifting, has now been fully dismantled and transported to HSL Buxton for further investigation. City Lifting said that they were exploring whether there was footage of the collapse, which would help them identify exactly what happened.
