Reporting on the accident, State Trooper Todd Granner, said, “The subject was operating a crane and was in the process of moving a bridge beam. For some unknown reason, the crane tipped over, trapping the operator inside. No other injuries were reported.”
According to local reports, the accident happened on a bridge construction site, on I 80. A nearby railroad has been closed.
