The Contractor shall provide all labour, management, supervision, tools, material, supplies, and equipment necessary to overhaul a total of 6 crane hoists assemblies and 12 hydraulic motors. The hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors are from the three cranes noted below:
a. 1997 80-Ton Rough Terrain Hydraulic Grove Crane – Two hydraulic hoist assemblies and four hydraulic motor assemblies, USN 82-05499, Model RT880, serial number 84491.
b. 1996 60-Ton Rough Terrain Hydraulic Grove Crane – Two hydraulic hoist assemblies and four hydraulic motor assemblies, USN 82-05471, Model RT760, serial number 83863.
c. 1995 50-Ton Truck Grove Crane – Two hydraulic hoist assemblies and four hydraulic motor assemblies, USN 82-05430, Model TMS 750B, VIN 456TS700BSS082588, serial number 82588.
Description of Work and Performance Standards.
For 80-Ton and 60-Ton Rough Terrain Cranes: The Contractor shall overhaul two hydraulic hoist assemblies and four hydraulic motors on each crane. The repair shall include inspecting, disassembling, and rebuilding the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors and complete all other incidental work related to the overhaul. The Government will transport the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors from the Government property to the Contractor’s repair shop on Oahu. After the repair work is completed, the Government will transport the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors back to the Government’s work site. (Note: the Government will deliver only the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors and not the entire rough terrain cranes).
For 50-Ton Truck Crane: The Contractor shall overhaul two hydraulic hoist assemblies and four hydraulic motors. The repair shall include removing, inspecting, disassembling, rebuilding, and reinstalling the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors and complete all other incidental work related to the overhaul. The Government will transport the 50-ton crane from the Government property to the Contractor’s repair shop on Oahu. After the overhaul work is completed, the Government will transport the crane back to the Government’s work site. If space is limited at the Contractor’s repair shop, the Government will remove the crane from the Contractor’s repair shop and return the crane for re-installation of the overhauled hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors. The Contractor’s repair effort shall include removal and re-installation of the hoist assemblies and hydraulic motors from the crane.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811310 and the annual size standard is $6.5 million. This is a one-time firm fixed-price simplified acquisition procedure. This is a new procurement.
