Experience within the crane industry will be a distinct advantage. Communication and organizational skills are also important as this role will involve interaction with customers and dealers together with supervision of other workshop staff. This is an interesting and varied role for the right candidate. The position will be predominantly workshop based, but with the potential for some European travel.
Some visits to Tokyo Japan for technical meetings will also be required and languages would be an advantage but not compulsory.
Knowledge of safe load indicators- being able to read electrical and hydraulic drawings and being able to give customers and dealers technical support via telephone is required. Must have mobile crane experience.
The successful candidate will be working with or over another 3 technicians depending on knowledge and experience.
Salary £30, 000 – £40,000
