Cranes Asia 2010

The inaugural Cranes Asia conference and table-top exhibition was held in Singapore on 9-10 December, 2009 and attracted manufacturers, end users, dealers, distributors, government figures and other officials from across the Asian and Australian lifting industry.

Speakers included Chan Yew Kwong, deputy director, OSH specialists department, Singapore Ministry of Manpower; Samuel Lim, senior assistant director, research, benchmarking and analysis, Workplace Safety and Health Council, Singapore; Mick Hoyle, cranes, rigging and lifting consultant, Exxon-Mobil, Singapore; Tatsuo Maruo, senior director, marketing division, Kobelco; Raman Joshi, vice president, Manitowoc Cranes, India; Minna Vilkuna, Hiab’s general manager, sales and services, China; and Niels Haakman, managing director, Taisun, Yantai Raffles.

Crane companies that supported Cranes Asia 2009 included Al Jaber Heavy Lift, Manitowoc, Terex, Tat Hong, Fagioli and Zoomlion.
