Cranes Today has organised three events in Dubai since 2007. When the industry in the city was at its peak, the event gave attendees a much-needed opportunity to learn about the latest developments in safe working practices, and to network with key customers. Now that some of the more prominent projects in the emirate have been postponed, the event is even more important: attendees at Middle East Cranes 2009 received crucial information on those regions and segments where growth is still strong.

Over the last three years, Cranes Today has brought together key figures in the local industry. At the first event, a group of them got together to form the Crane Safety Forum, which now plays a leading role in the region, sharing information on best practice and offering advice to local regulators. Cranes Today continues to support the Crane Safety Forum, and the industry across the Gulf region. Middle East Cranes will return to the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai on 23–24 February 2010.

Cranes Today is taking the model it has developed at Middle East Cranes to Asia this year. Cranes Asia, at the Shangri La hotel in Singapore, will combine vital insight on business opportunities in Asia and Australasia with all of the latest and best in safe lifting operations from the world’s leading safety experts and standards committee members. The event will take place on 9–10 December 2009.

Space at Cranes Today events is always limited. To make sure you can take part, and to learn more about our events, please visit the Middle East Cranes information page. A new page, with further information on Asian Cranes, will be added shortly.
