The Council brings together crane owners, end users and marketers from associations in all of Australia’s states and territories, including the newly formed association in Northern Territory. The group is acknowledged by the Australian government as the official spokesman of the crane industry, CICA said. The group’s annual conference is scheduled for 30 September-2 October 2009 at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
“Despite – or perhaps because of – their physical distance from our London office, Australians are some of the most vocal and involved members of the global crane industry,” says editor Will Dalrymple. “This is a fantastic opportunity to better serve Australian readers and the Australian crane industry in general.”
Cranes Today has been a member of the US crane association the SC&RA for 20 years, and joined the UK’s Construction Plant-Hire Association in 2008.
