Brakpan, South African-based CTS East, one of the largest conveyors of construction and mining equipment, structural steel fabrications and other types of abnormal loads in the country, has expanded its specialised transport fleet with the addition of a Faymonville CombiMAX modular vehicle trailer system. It is the first in the country.
The company, headed by Trevor Rawlings, purchased the CombiMAX in a 3+5 combination – which features an excavator bridge.
A member of Faymonville’s instruction team visited CTS to demonstrate exactly how the trailer system works.
Faymonville describes the CombiMAX as a modular kit that offers future expandability due to its coupling points and a wide range of compatible elements. Faymonville says Rawlings has bought many specialised transport solutions from it over the years and CTS’s fleet includes various Faymonville semi-trailers, flatbeds, and modules.
