Crane Safety 2004, a major international conference organised by the magazines Cranes Today and Hoist, will be held on 21 and 22 June 2004. The venue is once again the Thistle Tower Hotel in London, where Cranes Safety 2003 was also held.
Consideration was given to moving the venue, but the consensus of feedback from the 170 delegates that attended the successful 2003 event was that London should be selected a second time.
The theme of the conference next year is Crane Safety: Management and Technology. The conference will be divided into sessions that address human factors, man management and operational issues, and ‘break-out’ workshop sessions that address technology, engineering and technical issues for specific sectors of the crane industry, such as EOT cranes.
Further details will be published in future issues of Cranes Today and Hoist, as well as here on the ConnectingCranes website.
