UK Fassi dealer Walker Crane Services showed a mounted Fassi F800 loader crane with a 360° duty. Normally loaders are de-rated when lifting over the cab, says sales director Tony Hitchcock. But the company engineered a special toe-beam with twin front stabilisers, approved by the truck manufacturer Scania, that enables full load capacity over the cab of the Scania R480 cab.

The 66tm Fassi F800BXP.38 crane has a 21m reach and can lift 2.5t at jib-end. It weighs 7,750kg. Colliers Truck Builders installed the crane on the chassis. The customer is Adventi, and will be used to place Oasis portable cabins.
