Mr Rauen will takeover from Mr Joos, who is leaving the post on March 31. Mr Joos is leaving his position due to differing views with the supervisory board and immediate personal reasons. His appointment has been “terminated by mutual consent”.

Mr Rauen was most recently chairman of the managing directors of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH.

In light of the changes, the supervisory board has resolved to modify the schedule of responsibilities of the management board. From now on, the chairman of the management board will, amongst others, also be responsible for the services segment, the human resources department and the office of labour director. Thomas Hagen will add responsibility for the port technology segment alongside his existing duties for industrial cranes.
