Finnish manufacturer KCI Konecranes has picked up two orders from the USA together worth more than $20m.
The first contract is a $10m order from the Maryland Port Administration in Baltimore for six 50t SWL rubber tyred gantry cranes, with an option for 12 more units over the next two years. Delivery is in May 2002.
The second contract is from Georgia Port Authority for two ship-to-shore container cranes, with an option for a further two. While the price of this order was not disclosed, these cranes typically cost in the region of $6m. Delivery of these cranes is in February 2003.
