The 37 LTM 1055-3s Ainscough is taking delivery of over the next few months include a mat and cribbing holder fitted by Liebherr Ehingen. The holder can fit four Nylacast nylon reaction mats and timber cribbing. The holder helps operators handle the mats and cribbing and secure them during transport. A grey tackle box on top includes chain slings, nylon webs, shackles and other rigging equipment. Ainscough’s engineering director Steve Cooke said that the company standardises the exact rigging tackle stored in the box for each capacity class of cranes in order to keep to weight regulations.
