FRENCH-BELGIAN lifting contractor Dufour has taken delivery of a 180t capacity Kobelco CKE 1800 crawler crane.

The crane has 85.3m of main boom and can be configured with 55m of main boom and 52m of luffing jib, or with 73.2m of main boom and 30.5m of fixed jib. It joins Dufour’s fleet of mainly wheeled mobile cranes up to 650t capacity.

Dufour has offices in Dunkerque, France and Tournai (Doornik), Belgium and specialises in contracting, demolition, rental, piling and horizontal and vertical transport, from exceptional transport of reactors to moving complete factories.

Kobelco says that it has improved its load moment limiter by requiring the input of actual boom and jib lengths, instead of codes. Crane configuration with boom and jib lengths is shown on the new display in colour for greater contrast.
