The new Swing Lift Kerb Lift from Penny Hydraulics is designed to handle kerbstones and other loads up to 250kg. It can, claims its supplier, be fitted quickly and easily to virtually any vehicle including vans, flatbeds, dropsides, and tippers.
The Kerb Lift incorporates a 2m boom with dual pivot points so that the operator can lay up to 4m of kerbing without moving the vehicle. An overload protection device is designed to ensure that operators cannot lift more than the maximum laden weight of 250kg.
Separate controls for crane and vacuum lift help ensure operators do press the wrong button and release the vacuum and risk dropping the kerb or load.
