The trucks have a Doll trolley specially for carrying pipe sections. The model 310.00.3S articulating cranes are rated at 30tm. They can lift a maximum of 7t and have a maximum horizontal outreach of 10m.
The vehicles were purchased by Scot, a subsidiary of the Syrian state petroleum company SPC in Damascus.
Meanwhile, Frans Bonhomme, a French supplier of plastic pipes, has taken delivery of 50 Iveco trucks fitted with 92tm class Effer 95/3S loader cranes.
Frans Bonhomme runs a fleet of 200 delivery trucks, all with knuckle boom cranes. Typically, it renews its fleet every five years, placing one large order a year.
The cranes, all with a self-compensated proportional control bank and radio controls, were supplied through Effer’s distributor Gibouin. The Effer 95/3S has a maximum outreach, fully hydraulic, of 9m and can lift 900kg at 8.8m.
