As with the e5, the e10 features a magnet on its lower section to attract the centre of proprietary textile slings with steel fibres inside.
Once the sling is magnetically held to the hook body, the motorized hook swings down to hold the load.
Also featured is the inclusion of chain slings, bigbags and traditional elevation rings, eliminating the need for manual handling.
The Barcelona based firm have adopted the same designs used for the e5 and weighing only 5kgs more, the e10 will feature higher-grade steel than the e5, allowing a 10t Working Load Limit (WLL) with a 4:1 safety factor.
Rigorous testing in accordance with EN1677 shows that permanent deformations occur at less than 1% when the hook is overloaded to 250% of it’s WLL, and will not drop the load even at 400% of it’s WLL.
