The US Department of Homeland Security is looking for a slim/compact electric, self propelled, hydraulic crane easily maneuverable in tight spaces for use within close proximity of aircraft to perform maintenance on Falcon HU25 Jet and Sikorsky MH-60J Jayhawk Helicopter, such as to assist in changing out rotor blades and/or engines within our hangar. The basic height/weight requirements capable of hydraulically hoisting: a) 2000 lbs at a height of 12 feet (3 feet laterally from the base of the crane) and b) 500 lbs at a height of 17 feet (6 feet laterally from the base of the crane).
This will be a procurement not a rental.
Funds have been set aside. This is our initial solicitation on FedBizOpps (solicited on GSA Advantage) – Due to resonse and/or potential vendor questions, a revision/new soliciation may take place.
If awarded then standard FAR clauses will apply; this is not currently a small business set aside.
