TTC 100 can be used as a stand-alone solution or as part of a networked system, says TTTech. All inputs and outputs are freely programmable, and protected against electrical surges and short circuits.
CAN, RS-232, and LIN / TTP/A / ISO-K is available for serial communication. Both the stand-alone and network versions are said to fulfil the requirements of SIL 2 (Safety Integrity Level 2). This allows TTC 100 to be used for control of vehicle functions that require high levels of safety and reliability.
