GGR Group has awarded EnerMech the exclusive rights for the sale and hire of Unic mini cranes to the UK offshore market, as well as GGR’s Airlift spider cranes, which are ATEX certified compressed air-powered spider cranes suitable for use in explosive Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas.

EnerMech said it is hoping to extend the distributorship agreement to other markets where it has a presence. It is hosting a number of open days in January and February for its clients looking to find out more about GGR’s mini cranes.

“This is an important development for EnerMech and assures our clients that we can provide the most technologically advanced equipment available on the market,” said EnerMech’s director for cranes and lifting, John Morrison.

“UNIC mini cranes are ideal for shutdown work as they negate the need for building load bearing scaffolding and we can see their application during platform decommissioning.

“We are looking forward to working with GGR and are keen to extend the relationship in to other geographic regions.”
