Epsilon open house: Forestry crane manufacturer Epsilon celebrated its 25th anniversary by opening the doors of its factory in Elsbethern in Austria to customers, distributors and suppliers from across Europe. Among exhibits shown to visitors during the first week of March were the new models E120 Z and E260 L. The E260 L was demonstrated handling a 17m-long tree trunk weighing 4.4t (pictured). Epsilon is a subsidiary of Palfinger but moved to its own plant in Elsbethen, near Salzburg, in 1999. Since then, a new series of 17 crane models has been developed for handling timber and scrap. They range from 6.5tm to 38tm.
