Extensive lifting work continues in India’s petrochemical industry where cranes owned by Essar Petroleum have recently completed a 60t dual lift for Oil India Ltd. A pair of 100t-capacity Liebherrs placed the 55m-high liquified petroleum gas (LPG) column at Lakwa in Assam. Oil India’s client for the project is the Gas Authority of India.
Essar owns 12 Liebherr all terrain cranes of this capacity, though crane rental is not its primary business.
